Sand Dollar House in Hiriketiya is the perfect place for backpackers. the hosts, Gayashan and Roshani, are incredibly friendly and caring. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. the room is clean, with a comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. the little garden with a dinner table and daybed is a great spot to relax. the location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk to the beautiful beach. Breakfast was delicious every morning. We highly recommend this place!

Felt totally at home, nothing to complain about.

A charming place with a seating area, dining area, kitchen and even a patio. I was spoiled with a delicious Asian breakfast buffet. And as if that wasn't enough, I got free private parking and WiFi. The only thing missing was a red carpet at the entrance.

Who needs a red carpet when you have everything else? Couldn't find a single thing to complain about, unfortunately.
